Joseph W. Duenas, ENV SP

Pacific Region Manager

Joe is SSFM’s Pacific Area Manager, operating out of the firm’s Guam office. He joined SSFM from a position as Chief of Staff for the Lt. Governor of Guam. Other positions within Guam’s government include Director of Public Works, General Manager of Guam’s Port Authority and as the State Historic Preservation Officer. Through his 25 year career Joe has managed a variety of public and private organizations ranging in size from 5 to 500 employees. His management experience in the public and private sectors and close ties to Guam, make Joe an invaluable resource for clients in meeting their project goals.

Duenas is a native of Guam and resident of Tamuning. Beyond his professional commitments, he is dedicated to community service. He has been a council member and former president of the Lutheran Church of Guam, president and founder of the Guam National Physique Committee and Honorary Lifetime President of the South Pacific Bodybuilding Federation. He attended Colorado College and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Guam. He was raised in a military family and attended schools in the United States, Europe and Asia.
