Urban Assault Course and Training Facility

FY06 MCA PN58143m Schofield Barracks

Our role as prime consultant developing the Assault Course and Training facility at Schofield Barracks entailed creating the design documents for the live-fire facility including the urban\assault course, shoot house, breach facility and additional support facilities on the site of the existing course.

The component facilities for range operations included the assault course with earth berms, breach facility, shoot house, individual and team task technique station, squad and platoon task technique station, grenadier gunnery trainer, urban offense/defense building, underground trainer, after action review building, dual-gender vault latrine and operations/storage building.

Among the additional support facilities are a new access road, parking for private and tactical vehicles, primary and secondary power, data distribution systems, storm drainage and site improvements and approximately 20 tons of air conditioning in the AAR building. Demolition included 2 buildings.
